Cooter is a handsome gruella Quarter horse. He has a quiet disposition, and is usually passive in the herd. Cooter is very sensitive so needs a gentle handler to guide him. He?s had over 30 days of gentle, natural horse training under saddle but developed an ulcer and had to be taken out of his training program to recover.
Cooter had originally been returned for bucking, and also showed this behavior during training. While we believe this was due to pain from the ulcer, because of this issue, we are not comfortable adopting Cooter out as a riding horse; however, would like to find an experienced home where he can be a companion horse.
