Willie came to us in a cruelty case in January xxxx from Chittenden County. Willie has had extensive farrier, dental, and veterinary care, including surgery on a chipped coffin bone. Willie has come through this all and is an absolute joy; he is a gentle soul who enjoys his grain, lounging in the sun, and a pasture buddy.
He stands well for the vet and the farrier. Due to his age and his history, gelding is not recommended for Willie. Willie will always have a limp, and may develop arthritis. We are looking for a very special home where Willie can live in peaceful retirement, with a pasture buddy. Willie will not be able to be ridden.
